During my two year NNEB Diploma training, I would like to say that it was consistently run on very high standards and our Course Tutor had the very highest of expectations of all her students. I was also very appreciative of the support and encouragement that was given to us at all times.
I was impressed with the professionalism and dedication of the staff. Our Tutor would always help us with our problems and acted to resolve them. All our lecturers had an excellent knowledge in their specific subject areas which benefited us immensely. This meant that our quality of work was of a very high standard compared with some of the other Colleges and was due to a large extent to the efforts of our Course Tutor. The College had a very good reputation in the area and was known for the high quality of its students.
We were made to work hard; to maintain good time keeping and always present ourselves in a neat and tidy way; particularly when on placements. We were required to wear uniform for these placements as well as our Nursery Practice sessions in the classroom and official College functions.
As a student, I would have no hesitation in confirming that any work undertaken by our Course Tutor would always demonstrate the highest of professional standards. Without her, our training would not have reached the high standard or gained its excellent reputation.
